Some of my physical buttons are sunk. I was hoping to see how to remove the main board to access and reseat the buttons.

You can turn the beep off if u need to. Just go into setting to beep sound

my Camry Hyrid has 12v agm battery, which drains if the car is not driven every 3 days. I have the Viofo a129a. I suspect it is the issue. It also has the parking kit. Have had the car since new 9 years, and the Viofo for 3 years.

I just got the same model. I downloaded the app. How do i connect it to the wifi. In the menu wifi does not pop up

The machine is powered by its own original lighter. It turns on at first, then starts back up, the screen flickers, then it works normally. I suspected the cable. There was a contact failure inside the mini USB cable end. I didn't bother. I bought a 4 mt mini USB cable with atni values from another place. I plugged it in yesterday, it starts normally, everything is fine. .This time, the rear camera has noise in the image at first, then it gets better. Whatever I do if I get my parking module adapter.

I bought this dashcam as a used item from ebay as i didn't want to commit a lot of money without dipping my toes in first. It hasn't turned out so well. I've hardwired it using all viofo kit. The dashcam only worked when plugging into the camera directly, even then it would say 'no gps' I've come to the conclusion that it is the connection between the cam and gps module. i measured with my calipers the height of the 4 contacts on the gps and the depth of the holes in the back of the camera. the measurement was exactly the same and the springs are very soft so have very little force on the back of the cam. With this, i have concluded that the gps will have to be repaired or replaced becuse i have adjusted those springs and it works for about three times after fitting, then i have to adjust the springs again! otherwise i have to push against the front of the cam to make it connect. If i let go, it turns off. I might put a tiny blob of solder on the very top of the gps contacts and if it works reliably, order a new gps module.

I noticed that mine gps works after pressing it hard , as if like the plastic over contacts Too sick, so I stick small peace of paper between gps and cam on opposing side from contacts , so when I slide gps in , the side with contacts is pressed more since opposite side becomes elevated from cam.

does it have a wifi like A129? If not how do we see the video's if we need to see it immediately

I love this I actually live in Hope, BC myself, just picked up an a119 V3 myself and was curious with today's current firmware (2.6) is it still recommended to use the settings you provided in your menu demonstration video and this video or is there anything worth changing?

Nice thank you, got a question i try to format my other sd cards that are 512gb or 1tb in this dash cam and it didn't let me format it. Then i put another sdcard that is 128gb and it did work all of them are sandisk cards. Can somebody explaing me why the dash cam couldn't format my others sdcards please.

Mine doesn’t do that. The Viofo A119 V3 comes with two foam stick on pads that you have to stick the the back of the camera body. Once I put one on mine, it didn’t vibrate at all.

Hello! Did you drive with door windows opened or not? I did one mini audio test, with my a129 plus dashcam. Both door windows (drive/passenger) were pulled down about 15cm. There was const. noise in recorded audio. I'm not shure it's because of wind or something else (dashcam vibration?). My a129 is mounted on gps module. Great videos BC Hobbyist! Regards from Serbia

Put something bright on your dashboard. Look through the filter at the windscreen so you can see the reflection of the bright object. Rotate the filter for least reflection. Done

I just replaced the RTC (date/time keep alive) battery (MS621FE) in one of mine. I tried charging it up with mains power but it wasn't maintaining enough charge anymore. Easy to find the batteries on ebay, aliexpress, amazon, etc.

I lost my chance to format the card on initial set-up by accidentally pressing a different button. I can’t figure out how to RE-FORMAT the SD card so if anybody knows that would be cool.

I used a smartphone as a dashcam for a long time and i never got problem with cops pulling me over for obstruction

400gb sab disk doesn’t work. It won’t format it .😮‍💨
